Ict apprentice support technician - united kingdom, arnold, nottinghamshire

the nottinghamshire fire and rescue service is seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual with a passion to improve their skills and knowledge within the ict field.

ict apprentice support technician (fixed term contract up to 18 months)

arnold, ng5 8pp

37 hours per week (includes office based work and training)
rate of pay is national minimum wage for your age group

the successful candidate will assist the ict department in providing a high quality, efficient, timely, customer-focused and professional ict support to departments and teams based at headquarters and at associated nfrs locations.

ict (information & communications technology) is defined as being any fixed or mobile electronic device, network, software, application or system that is capable of storing or transmitting nfrs communication, information and data.

the successful candidate will have gcse maths and english grade c or equivalent and have experience using microsoft office products and systems. they must be able to work on their own and in a team, while being able to communicate effectively.

the successful candidate will complete the it infrastructure technician level 3 standard with nottingham college.
