student experience manager - the role:

are you a teacher who has experience of delivering pshe looking for a change of career? have you got management experience?

we are looking for an experienced manager with passion and drive for quality of student experience during their time at college. you will facilitate exciting and original enrichment activities across the north star and queens drive campuses and ensure the provision of student financial support in accordance with all funding rules and regulations.

student experience manager - key responsibilities:

- lead learner voice activity including the student council and student task forces as well as supporting and overseeing the student union and nus activity

- lead the provision of enrichment activities ensuring there are ample opportunities for extracurricular activities to enhance the student experience at both of our campuses

- manage the cross college events and guest speakers that are coming in and due to happen making sure they are planned and delivered

- lead the student finance team ensuring financial support is provided to students in line with all funding rules and regulations, and opportunities to support students from bursaries are maximised

- act as cross-college lead for the tutorial provision, writing the central scheme of work each year and ensure that the resources are all planned and who can meet with the progress coaches regularly and make sure they are delivering what is planned

- work on the online tutorial programme and go through resources that are available by working with the elearning team and progress coaches to ensure this is set up on the vle.

student experience manager - you:

- minimum level 2 in maths and english (or equivalent)

- hold or be working towards a level 3 qualification in management

- a degree or other relevant and equivalent qualification

- up to date working knowledge of microsoft office and microsoft outlook

- previous experience of working in further education

- knowledge and experience of managing teams, prioritising workloads and managing/allocating resources

- knowledge of current developments in safeguarding & child protection
