Renewable electrical design engineer - united kingdom, sunderland, tyne and wear
we are working with a well-known engineering company based in the sunderland area to add talent to their team. this client operates in the renewable sector and is seeing sustained growth. are you an experienced and qualified electrical design engineer and have some experience in siemens, ladder logic, scada systems, design of hmi screens, e-plan? you will be at least at hnd level, ideally degree qualified and have 5 years in a similar role. you will be prepared to travel for work as required (infrequent) be able to write code from scratch and have experience of flow diagrams, siemens automation software and be living locally. role specification: electrical concept system design including drafting diagrams and supporting plc programming. produce p&id drawings and bill of materials for each design using autocad & eplan. create schematics that show electrical components and panels working together write and document program draft a diagram of the process, as a plc programmer and build robust programs use automation software (siemens and others) programming language (such as ladder logic, st, sfc, function block) to write the program. salary on application - this is competitive - based on site monday to friday (non negotiable). salary on application
