Healthcare assistant - united kingdom, bridport, dorset

we are looking for lovely hcas to join our friendly colmers ward team on permanent contracts.

the posts are full time, 37.50 hours per week but part time and flexible working will be considered.

bridport hospital is in an amazing part of dorset with stunning beaches and coastline and surrounded by lovely countryside.

colmers cares for elderly patients needing rehabilitation and palliative and end of life care . we may also need to care for patients who are covid 19 positive.

we have a mixture of day and night shifts and staff will be given opportunities and support to develop their skills clinically and professionally.

employment in this post requires an enhanced disclosure and barring service (dbs) check.

to assist registered nursing staff in providing high quality individualised nursing care to a clearly defined group of patients, relatives and carers.

to assist the multidisciplinary team to aid patients in gaining independence and mobility in preparation for a safedischarge.

to participate in providing a range of therapeutic activities

for patients.
