Production assembler- 1st & 2nd shift - united states, springfield (massachusetts)

adecco is working with a global leader in providing essential power solutions to the industrial technology, healthcare and semiconductor manufacturing equipment sectors in gloucester, ma who is hiring immediately for production assemblers on 1st and 2nd shift! as a quality assurance inspector, you will perform essential duties with starting pay ranging from $19-$25/hour, plus available overtime.

***this position 100% requires previous soldering and electro-mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing setting***

pay rate:

  • 1st shift: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour based on prior experience
  • 2nd shift: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour based on prior experience
  • schedule:

  • 1st shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm, monday through friday
  • 2nd shift: 3:00pm to 11:30pm, monday through friday
  • job details:

    as a production assembler, you will perform production assembly work of light electro-mechanical assembly operations of moderately high complexity with close attention to detail following manufacturing assembly procedures. read and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts lists, sketches, written and verbal instructions.

    responsibilities:

  • electro-mechanical assembly of rf generators for use in industrial settings
  • final configuration of externally produced components to meet customer specification
  • manufacture of pcbas, cable assembles, cables harness, and power supplies
  • undertaking fault diagnosis with a view to ‘cure once’ – promote continuous improvement by sharing observations and knowledge with others, including manufacturing engineering, quality, and the design team
  • align with health and safety and 6s
  • lean principles within the manufacturing department
  • undertake cross-training as well as providing training to others in the department
  • work with limited supervision and follows written and verbal instructions
  • key qualifications and skills:

  • knowledge of basic assembly and electro-mechanical assembly functions.
  • ability to read and understand (in english), blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings and written procedures.
  • ability to communicate effectively.
  • ability to operate machinery such as soldering iron, power screwdrivers, and various hand tools, etc.
