Quality assurance inspector- 1st shift - united states, springfield (massachusetts)

adecco is working with a global leader in providing essential power solutions to the industrial technology, healthcare and semiconductor manufacturing equipment sectors in gloucester, ma who is hiring immediately for quality assurance inspectors on 1st shift! as a quality assurance inspector, you will perform essential duties with starting pay ranging from $22-$37/hour, plus available overtime.

pay rate:

1st shift: $22.00 to $32.00 per hour based on prior experience

schedule:

1st shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm, monday through friday

job details:

as a quality assurance inspector, you will perform electromechanical inspection and testing of incoming components and materials, in-process auditing and testing of ongoing production, final inspection prior to shipment when applicable. participate in the development and maintenance of the documented quality system related to job function.

responsibilities:

reading and interpreting drawing requirements and basic process and product acceptance standards.

use of calipers, microscope, functional gauging, and other basic inspection equipment.

use of visual standards to verify finish and appearance features.

inventory of incoming material and identify discrepancies

key qualifications and skills:

good math and reading skills.

computer literacy, ms word, excel.

good attendance and work habits.

ability to work independently and make consistent decisions.

willingness and ability to be trained in the job function and system requirements.
