adecco is working with a global leader in providing essential power solutions to the industrial technology, healthcare and semiconductor manufacturing equipment sectors in gloucester, ma who is hiring immediately for test technicians on 2nd shift! as a test technician, you will perform essential duties with starting pay ranging from $32-$38/hour, plus available overtime.

pay rate:

  • 2nd shift: $37 to $43.00 per hour based on prior experience
  • schedule:

  • 2nd shift: 3:00pm to 11:30pm, monday through friday

    this is an exciting time to join the rf operations team as we’re experiencing both accelerated growth and business environment challenges and opportunities. in this critical role you’ll be part of the engineering test technician team where you’ll perform radio frequency (rf) testing operations on power amplifiers, rf generators, dc power supplies, rf matching equipment, and other components. you’ll ensure that our products meet the specifications and customer requirements whilst continuously looking at ways to improve our processes. 

    responsibilities:

  • you’ll test and troubleshoot rf products using various test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, voltage meters, and oscilloscopes
  • you’ll identify and find solutions and fix problems to continuously improve our processes.
  • you’ll diagnose, rework, and verify rf sub-component and final electronic products of moderate to high complexity as prescribed by drawings, electrical schematics, and/or procedures.
  • in collaboration with the engineering team, you’ll document product repair changes, evaluate results, and recommend solutions.
  • you’ll work with eco information, pdm systems, and collaborate with test engineering on advanced trouble shooting.
  • record failure data and test issues in data bases as required.
  • recommend design, update, and efficiency improvements to test stands as well as support the construction of test systems to simulate use for lab performance and durability testing.
  • prepare reports and test procedures documenting the results, methods and equipment used in product evaluation.

  • you’ll be experienced in testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing electronic products, power supplies and related products.

  • familiarity with pdm (product data management) and erp (enterprise resource planning) systems
  • strong ability to test and diagnose units with minimal direction.
  • associates degree in electrical technology, electrical engineering, or computer science or 4 years of relevant experience
