Program manager iii - united states, san francisco

the "world's largest search engine" is hiring for a temporary position.

overall responsibilities: 

as a program manager you will work closely with the product manager, swes and all other cross-functional partners. you will leverage your organization, process improvement, project management, analytical, and change management skills to organize teams to shared goals, design + optimize + scale workflows and operations for the team, and delight stakeholders and users.

you have an understanding of production management and outsourced vendor operations, dexterity with data, and extreme preference for simplification and automation. you'll focus relentlessly on the user, demonstrating your drive to continuously evolve our service offerings, support operations, and platforms. 

top 3 daily responsibilities: 

  • own and manage business-critical programs, developing actionable plans to achieve goals
  • structure and lead project teams, clearly defining roles, strategy, deliverables and timeline
  • build strong cross-functional partnerships with product, policy, and engineering teams.
  • help coordinate the team as its plans for annual and quarterly goals,  and help the team track ongoing progress, keeping a close eye on stakeholder needs and dependencies.

  • mandatory skills/qualifications: 

  • bachelor's degree in a technical or business field or equivalent practical experience (5 years program management experience in a large software or technology company)
  • experience managing projects across multiple verticals, industries and/or geographical areas
  • experience building trust with and influencing stakeholders
  • excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • 5+ years of experience leading dynamic, large-scale and cross-functional projects across organizational boundaries with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • non-essential skills/qualifications: 

  • experience in ai technologies and compliance and legal hurdle navigation is a plus
  • experience with the product development lifecycle
  • passion for localization
