multi award winning destination management company,  provides a range of specialized services for its clients, from event development and strategy to creative direction and design, from budgeting and on-site execution to financial reconciliation.

we are currently seeking an accounting clerk to join our accounting team in honolulu.

about the role

primary job duties include but are not limited to:

  • processing of accounts payables, accounts receivables and/or daily sales in accordance with strict deadlines
  • verifying, allocating and coding transactions
  • for ar – collections and its application to customer invoices
  • for ap – payment processing for vendor bills
  • reconciling accounts
  • resolving discrepancies with customers or vendors
  • communicating verbally or in writing in a professional and courteous manner
  • providing the best customer service when dealing with internal and external partners
  • working all scheduled shifts is required and overtime when needed.
  • other duties assigned by management.
  • about you

    our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • associates degree (nice to have but not required) in accounting or 2 years previous accounts payable/receivables experience preferred.
  • experience with erp’s or other like kind accounting systems / platforms. acumatica platform preferred.
  • strong computer skills in microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook) and able to easily adapt to other software programs (e.g., viper, crm, acumatica, etc.)
  • 10-key familiarity, computer and other office equipment experience required.
  • detail oriented with particular emphasis on accuracy and the ability to process work quickly.
  • communicate verbally or in writing in a professional and courteous manner. ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • able to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • must be able to work independently yet be a team player.
  • work onsite in honolulu offices, past normal business hours and on weekends as needed.
