1.perform mechanical maintenance and repair activities on the floor, including other related tasks in maintenance department as scheduled or as assigned to. 2.perform the preventive maintenance plans effectively in order to prevent any sudden mechanical failures. 3.perform daily jobs based on work orders & job instructions received and contact operation personnel to clarify the problem details ensuring completion of job timely & efficiently. 4.to check & troubleshoots the faults on mechanical equipment, inspect those to identify the faults, determine & reports best method of repair to supervisors. 5.to repair / overhaul rotating equipment mainly extruders, winders ,draw stands ,de- bagging machine, material transport systems , pumps, blowers, fans, mixers, agitators & other mechanical stationary and rotating equipment. 6.to perform the other duties such as spare part review, tool inspection, suggest modifications and incident & near miss reporting etc. 7.able to read and understand the p&ids, pfds, eqpt. drawings etc. 8.knowledge of safe work practices & the work permit system. 9.experience in screw extruders / vacuum pump /agitator maintenance / alignment 10.experience in textiles manufacturing or similar process industries 11.basic knowledge safety procedures and permit systems 12.modern tools and predictive maintenance experience or knowledge.
