special interest tours - our client is a specialist in europe, handling special interest tours from a variety of markets - handling all the ground operations for groups interested in history, the arts, cuisine, politics, sport and geography.

we seek an experienced and knowledgable european tour operations executive who has experience of researching complicated tour itineraries, preparing quotations, negotiating rates with partners including hotels, attractions, restaurants and transport and then operating the group tour. if you have not worked for a european or uk inbound tour operator you wont have the tourism knowledge the client needs.

languages are useful especially portuguese, french or spanish. you will attend fam trips to develop your product knowledge and work closely with overseas b2b clients including tour operators, dmc's and wholesalers.

as an all rounder you will have worked for an inbound tour operator or dmc planning, quoting and operating the group tours. the company rewards their staff with a great salary and can offer a mix of office and home based work - at the moment the team spend 2 days a week in the office.
