Dental nurse for busy mixed nhs and private practice - united kingdom, armadale, west lothian

our practice currently has a requirement for an experienced dental nurse.

the position is full time and permanent. all suitable applicants are encouraged to apply as we will always consider the professional over the position. we may consider other applicants looking for part time positions.

this is a well established busy practice with 3 dental surgeons and we have historically been a vt practice. we provide both private and nhs dental care, as well as a number of additional clinical treatments. surgical microscope has recenty been installed and we offer on site ortho treatment.

we have invested heavily in new air conditioning and ventilation, permitting over 10 air changes per hour in each surgery. electric high speeds are in use which reduce aerosol production during treatment.

fully paperless practice running soe exact & with digital x-ray, clini-pads and onsite pan oral.

this vacancy is for a fully qualified and gdc registered nurse who will mainly cover chair side nursing, although some admin and assistance at reception will be required.

ideally you will have:

- 2 or more years nursing experience

- working knowledge of exact (soe) software (specifically chair-side charting)

- experience following nhs policies & processes

- experience in a fast pace busy practice

- excellent team working skills and demonstrable initiative
