Position summarycomcrafts is seeking a highly motivated and accountable associate for mainly the role of network & security presales engineer experienced in lan/wan/wireless, security infrastructure /cabling infrastructure of cisco & aruba products & other peripherals technologies. this position is within our presales group and focuses primarily on enterprise networking products and solutions. this position is a support resource for our customers, sales, customer service and technical services team. we are looking for performance-driven engineer who are seeking a dynamic engineering opportunity where he takes full ownership of the architecture and design of client solutions. areas of responsibility include technical guidance, quote development, product demonstrations. this position will also work closely with other presales engineers mainly cyber security , collaboration , & data center services to deliver a comprehensive solution.general responsibilities &job description summary· deliver solutions according to the customer needs including bom, boq, solution description, and network topology.· deliver hld based on the customer needs· deliver design, boq configuration, active networking solutions e.g. switches catalyst & nexus , wireless ,routers, transceivers, copper &fiber cabling.deliver technical consultancy for internal teams when neededhold advanced level industry standard certifications within a specific technology as well as utilize vendor configuration tools e.g. cisco ccw & ccw-r.work closely with the vendor/suppliers/distributors am/presales in order to develop the required design boq &configuration. validate the solution & deliverables as per the customer needs.focus on delivering cost effective and added value solution.handling all negotiations with vendors and suppliers to get the best and final prices and deal registration protected discountsprofessional response to rfis/rfps that include pre/post-tender activity, preparing technical solution documents (tsd) professional response to rfis/rfps that include post-tender activity, preparing technical solution documents (tsd) with required scope, boq, implementation timeline plan, compliance, module write-up including solution overview…work and assist our sales teams to fill information gaps, and communicate architecture and technical solutions.perform other duties as assigned.ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.experience in wireless lan technologies such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and wireless security.experience network security such as firewalls, utm, ipsec vpn, sslvpn, token-based authentication, intrusion prevention system, data encryption and pin verification system.work with post-sales team to ensure solution is delivered as proposed.· experience to consulting among groups including, collaboration , data center architecture, database, desktop and middleware to integrate and apply new architectures and technologies to the customer's technical infrastructure· assists the sales team to develop and implement specific account penetration strategies, produce account specific product and service and sales plansreviewing and addressing information technology rfps/tenders, as well as preparing & presenting the proper solutions to meet the needs in the rfps.liaise and market with external vendor consultants when needed.interact and coordinate with customers, 3rd party partners, vendors and internal teams as part of the presales process.· contact vendor & manufacturer and follow up on requested quotes and designsproviding technical and/or business consultative leadership during the pre-sales and/or post-sales cycle. emphasis on technical & hardware capabilities, software requirements and systems integrationdemonstrating the ability to influence the customer towards the vendor products and convince the customer that we are first choice from a technology perspective· performing presentations and responding to technical proposals and estimation of the “level of effort” concerning the consulting services or solution.· having exposure to client vertical business models including healthcare , hospitality , retails , education, government, banking, commercial, enterprise sectors, &others.· developing and recommending solutions and strategies, based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing systems infrastructure.soft key skillsmust have excellent written and oral communication symantec, meraki, commscope,..etc.understanding of security/networking market trends and challengesccnp certification is a mustccdp certification is preferred.must be resident in saudi arabia with valid &transferable iqama .three to five years' experience
