Accountant for a well-established company - bahrain, tubli

A well-established company is looking for a self-motivated accountant to join the team. the selected accountant will need to be a self-motivated individual and with firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations. the chosen candidate will be working with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management.

duties and responsibilities:
• record financial transactions
• prepare forms and financial documentation, including balance sheets and income statements
• prepare journal entries for month-end close
• reconcile balance sheets and income statement monthly
• research local financial legal requirements, and update procedures / documentation as needed
• create budgets and financial plans as needed
• reconcile general ledger accounts
• identify potential discrepancies, and reconcile them by collecting and analyzing data
• compile comprehensive reports
• collaborate with suppliers to process invoices
• organize and verify invoices against the purchases made
• update accounts payable and vendor records as needed
• prepare invoices/reports for clients
• resolve any invoice discrepancies
• notify all vendors of payment
• review accounts payable weekly to ensure payments are on time
• perform other tasks as assigned
