Develop policies and procedures related to project scheduling and monitoring. oversee and provide necessary support to delivery team, pmcs and others in developing the consolidated master schedule, and identify critical path and alternateschedules.client detailsour client is involved in one of the largest developments in the ksa region with a focus on real estate and hospitality.descriptionproject planning & control:develop policies and procedures related to project scheduling and monitoringoversee and provide necessary support to delivery team, pmcs and others in developing the consolidated master schedule, and identify critical path and alternate schedulesreview project schedules and raise any significant inconsistencies between projectsliaise with concerned pmcs and delivery teams to understand how projects' progress are tracking against schedulesgather list of major budget and schedule deviations from project teams, and assess impactprovide support to projects that are significantly delayed and escalate to managementdocument control:develop and maintain an appropriate filing system in line with guidelines and requirements, ensuring it is kept up to date at all timesdevelop and maintain appropriate document control policies and processes in line with guidelines and requirements, ensuring these are adequately disseminated to all internal stakeholdersensure that all construction related documents (technical designs and drawings, permits, vendor contracts, budgets, plans, etc.) are maintained and easily retrieved when requiredensure a comprehensive repository of all other project related documents in the project library, ensuring they are scanned and uploaded into project library, with digital and printed copies of all documents maintainedcommercialcontribute to the development of the procurement and tendering policy and process, particularly as it relates to development procurement and contractingdevelop the overall project procurement and tendering strategyset criteria for vendors prequalification in line with standards, and manage prequalification process in coordination with procurement, including sending out invitations, reviewing and evaluating potential vendors and establishing list of preferred suppliersparticipate in the tendering and selection process in coordination with pmc and corporate procurement, including identifying vendors to be invited, coordination of technical and commercial evaluation, recommendation of preferred vendor, as well as vendor communication and final negotiationquantity surveyance:develop cost and price forecasts and estimates for the different components of the development projectsdevelop tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation for the tendering processsupport in the technical and commercial evaluation, ensuring that bidders are adhering to the defined rfp, boq and quality requirementstrack modifications and changes to the project in the design and/or construction phases, and adjust cost estimates to reflect the changesin coordination with the pmc, oversee progress of work on site and ensure that payments being processed are in line with actual progress on site and agreed upon payment terms and conditionsreview the recommended contractual terms and conditions for provision of services, ensuring they are aligned with terms and conditions outlined in tendering selection and negotiation process, highlighting risks and potential breaches to the project teams and recommending remedial actions to address gaps in coordination with the legal teamsupport with ongoing contract administration relevant to settlements / final account (e.g. in case of outstanding payments) as necessitatedprofilethe successful candidate will be strong in project controls with a focus on large and complex deskillscommercial procurement & tendering, project planning & control, quantity surveyance, stakeholder management
