job description:

the budgeting & reporting accountant provides a range of quality financial management services, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, analysis, reporting, and supporting the development of strategies to strengthen financial management capability for the allocated areas as determined by the business need.

responsibilities:

1. conducts financial analysis to support decision-making, including forecasting revenue and expenses for the upcoming year
2. creates detailed reports on variances between actual results and budgeted amounts, making
recommendations for adjustments as needed
3. involves creating a plan for how an organization will allocate its financial resources over a period of time
4. aligns with the organization's strategic goals and be based on realistic revenue and expense
projections
5. reviews and updates regularly to ensure that the organization is on track to meet its financial goals and adjust for any unexpected changes in revenue or expenses.
6. involves summarizing an organization's financial performance over a period of time in a
format that is useful to stakeholders (such as investors, creditors, or management).
7. prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (gaap) and be timely, accurate, and transparent.
8. prepares monthly financial reports for senior management, analyzing key performance indicators and identifying areas for improvement
9. developing and managing budgets for departments or the entire organization.
10. monitoring and analyzing financial data to identify trends and potential areas of concern
11. creating and presenting financial forecasts and projections based on historical data and industry trends.
12. collaborating with other departments to ensure that budgets and financial reports align with the organization's strategic goals.
13. communicating financial information to stakeholders, including senior management.

qualifications:

1. bachelor's degree in business or accounting i cpa preferred
2. minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in budgeting, reporting & accounting
3. computer literacy with experience in ms word, and excel. prefer prior knowledge in erp computing
4. excellent communication and leadership skills
5. ability to speak, read, and write english
6. contracting and construction experience
7. high attention to detail and accuracy
8. ability to direct and supervise
