The procurement director will be responsible to lead the department across development or construction procurement, corporate procurement, and procurement excellence activities.client detailsour client is a confidential real estate development company that is leading several projects across the kingdom and establish the region as a major tourist destination through their developments.descriptiondevelop and implement procurement governance, policies, processes and standards, and ensure compliance against those standardsdevelop and implement the company-wide annual procurement plan taking into consideration all functions need, previous demand and supply levels and allocated budgetidentify and report all deviations from procurement plans and manage the implementation of corrective actions in conjunction with concerned departmentsdevelop, update and manage the supplier registration and pre-qualification processesmanage general supplier market assessment for seeking alternative suppliers and understand the key supplier marketplace dynamics and current trends, and define & recommend an appropriate list of vendors that will meet the requirements of the procurement or contracting requestwhere appropriate, participate in the resolution of key challenges with a specific vendordefine relevant opportunities where key vendor partnerships will be beneficial, building the business case and recommending relevant actionsagree-on the target kpis for suppliers with internal stakeholders and report against supplier management specific kpismanage end-to-end procurement operations including the preparation, issuance, and processing of pos, rfps, and other related documentsoversee all procurement transactions - including, the administration of orders, deliveries, logistics and complaints / follow ups, etc.manage the entire tendering cycle, from identification of tendering committee members, technical criteria development, interfacing and negotiating with bidders through to approvals and contract awarding and signingmanage the evaluation of commercial and technical bids in accordance with the defined evaluation process and criteriaparticipate in the selection and negotiation process, and apply evaluation criteria to supplier response to support in short listing and final selectionscoordinate with development management team to develop rfp, rfqs, and other tender documentsmanage end-to-end procurement operations including the preparation, issuance, and processing of pos, rfps, and other related documentsoversee all procurement transactions - including, the administration of orders, deliveries, logistics and complaints / follow ups, etc.manage the entire tendering cycle, from identification of tendering committee members, technical criteria development, interfacing and negotiating with bidders through to approvals and contract awarding and signingmanage the evaluation of commercial and technical bids in accordance with the defined evaluation process and criteriaparticipate in the selection and negotiation process, and apply evaluation criteria to supplier response to support in short listing and final selectionsprofilespecific knowledge & capabilities:strategic procurement, sourcing & tender management, vendor & contract management, conflict management & dispute resolution, purchasing experience with oracle fusion erp or similar technical knowledge in contracting and supervision and strong knowledge of procurement trends and practicesindustry background:previous managerial experience in a similar position, ideally in the real estate industryadditional qualifications:master's degree in business is preferredcips (or equivalent recognized qualification) is preferredjob offerattractive salary package and benefitsskillsdevelopment procurement
