As an electrical and mechatronic maintenance engineer working on an automation production line, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechatronic systems, specifically focusing on agvs (automated guided vehicles), palletizing robots, asrs (automated storage and retrieval systems) systems like stacker cranes, conveyor systems, and solutions for destroying, suctioning, and compacting papers. your role will involve performing preventive maintenance, conducting repairs, and optimizing the performance of these automated systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. here is a detailed job description:conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities on agvs, palletizing robots, asrs systems (such as stacker cranes), conveyor systems, and paper destruction, suctioning, and compacting solutions.perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve electrical and mechatronic malfunctions or failures in the automation production line equipment.collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and operations, to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to the production process.respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, emergencies, or alarms, and take appropriate actions to restore functionality and minimize downtime.conduct repairs, replacements, and adjustments of electrical and mechatronic components, including motors, drives, sensors, actuators, control systems, and plcs (programmable logic controllers).ensure compliance with electrical and safety regulations, codes, and standards while performing maintenance and repair tasks on the automation production line equipment.monitor and analyze equipment performance data, such as energy consumption, uptime, and failure rates, to identify trends and implement improvements.collaborate with equipment suppliers and vendors for technical support, spare parts procurement, and warranty claims.develop and maintain accurate maintenance records, including equipment history, maintenance schedules, work orders, and inventory management.stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry best practices in electrical and mechatronic maintenance within automation systems.participate in risk assessments, root cause analysis, and incident investigations related to equipment failures or incidents in the automation production line.skillsskills and qualifications:bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or a related field.strong knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with a comprehensive understanding of automation technologies used in production lines.hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing agvs, palletizing robots, asrs systems (like stacker cranes), conveyor systems, and paper destructions, suctioning, and compacting solutions.proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and mechatronic faults using appropriate tools and equipment.familiarity with plc programming, hmi configuration, and industrial control systems within automation systems.knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations within the production line environment.excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.strong attention to detail and accuracy.
