Duties & responsibilities:1) main duties:work with all levels of business to understand & anticipate group’s technical needs & expectations, considering the cross functional needs and working in conjugation with business systems representatives in the divisions.prioritize & deliver it technical service, which balances the requirements of business with group’s resource constraints and system limitations.to work with the business to ensure that project scope is clearly defined and that appropriate resources are released to ensure project delivery on time & within budget.ensure that right levels of security are incorporated within the technical infrastructure to secure group’s information capital by protecting it from external & internal attacks & abuse.ensure all systems operating software and/or application programs are updated to meet the requirement of end users.manage suppliers & service providers, to ensure that they understand & deliver to fulfill the group’s requirement and project activities agreed within business time and budget.manage infrastructure support team to ensure that it is correctly structured, staffed and develop to support the growing needs of the group & to deliver agreed services.review and monitor performance against departmental standards & agreed policies. this will involve regular review of group process & procedures against best in class standards to ensure the group standards are up to date.it infrastructure projects design & implementation, including handling end user support, budgeting, configuration, testing, and maintenance issues.server, lan & wan monitoring & including troubleshooting & device monitoring.hardware (including faxes & copiers) purchasing, including vendor sourcing. assess cost/impact of strategy and project proposals and recommend solutions.plan a sequential update of outdated infrastructure including defining and maintaining it infrastructure standards.develop saudi nationals by appropriately training them & are involved as part of key projects.manage technical infrastructure budgets.2) administrative duties:review attendance for infrastructure team.manage subordinates’ workload.follow-up of subscriptions (internet, etc.).monitor backup and disaster recovery operation and maintenanceskills1. educational qualifications:• university degree in suitable field preferable it related.• certificate in networking and/or system administration is a plus.2. languages:• excellent command over written & spoken english3. experience:• minimum 5yrs. experience as system administrator.functionalsystem analysis & designit hardware & softwareoperating systems (windows/unix)communication technology (mpls, dll, dsl, vsat)it project managementdata analysisms office proficiency
