Assignment: help and support the business development team + develop the portfolio of prospects for the group activities in the middle east, in connection with the corporate strategic plan of the group.location: united arab emirates geographical zone: gcc countriesthe junior business developer is part of the business development team. he/she is responsible to support the business development team in order to find business opportunities for the group as per the regional strategic business orientations and such as:  projects, service contracts to be developed by the international division or by any other entity of the group. he/she is also assigned to develop the portfolio of potential clients.the junior business developer will have to adopt a proactive attitude in order to perform in his/her assignment in these two fields of activities:help & support to the whole business development teamelaborate the group presentations in connection with the head of communication.prepare the prospection/introduction meeting by gathering valuable information on the persons attending the meetingdo the registration of the group and its affiliates in the different tender processesmonitor the issuance of tenders on energy sector in the middle east and dispatch it to the different entities.prepare the answers to the tenders: gather the documentation, do a checklist, monitor the availability of the documents, coordinate the different contributors, control the compliance of the technical and commercial offers to the rfp/rfq, market the offer with a good-looking presentation, pictures, etc…technical support for business plans constructiontechnical support for crm database: data collection from business developers, dashboards, …support to the management in order to prepare the business development team meetings.develop the portfolio of potential clientsidentify the local decision-makers and decision process in the energy sector and the related services such as: utilities, customers, partners, competitors, international organizations, french entities, local entities (ministries, fund development entities).based on a strong knowledge of group offers, references and expertise including the new offers (r&d, “new business”…), identify the counterparties needs in order to change them to a real business opportunity. in charge of the commercial contacts with the clients during the prospection phase.monitor professional events in the area and organize the group contribution/participationfor all his/her activities, the junior business developer:liaises with the other entities of the group in the region as per the coordination insured by the international division.is frequently in a position to represent the group where he/she is involved. provides regular reports about his/her mission/objectives in the region and proposes new orientations to develop the business opportunities in the region.the junior business developer is supported in carrying out his/her mission by the international division teams such as: the other group counterparts in the area.the management and the regional senior vp. the head of communicationhis/her colleagues from the business development teamtransversal directions of the international division: finance for financial issues, strategy and marketing direction for the area strategy marketing and communication issues, in particular for the ‘’new business’’ challenges, the legal and hr direction. skillsthe junior business developer is ideally persistent with a strong client oriented culture. he/she is irreproachable from the ethic point of view, comfortable with the local culture and familiar with the region’s traditions. he/ she builds up the trust easily, has a team work mindset with a strong capacity to work with his/her base team even from a remote location.the junior business developer work will be based on a strong and good understanding of the energy industry and economic and financial knowledge that could be improved if needed. the junior business developer will have to know the group in order to promote the diversity of expertise, knowhow and references of the group.
