tasks, activities, expectations:



? maintaining the books of accounts.

? maintaining the accounts receivables and payables.

? maintaining cash flow to make sure that adequate funds are available for the smooth functioning of the school.

? manage the annual budget.

? dealing with banks for day to day banking transactions.

? dealing with external auditors for annual audit. maintain and provide necessary documentation required for conducting the audit in a timely manner.

? maintain books of accounts in compliance with ifrs

? resolve customer/ parent issues and find amicable solutions for problems.

? make recommendations to management to resolve exceptional customer issues related to fees refund.

? prepare fee structure for the new academic year and forward the same for management approval.

? maintain proper outlook calendar to track recurring payments.

? maintain confidentiality of financial information.

? training and monitoring the accounts staff for attaining individual and departmental goals.

? provide appropriate financial information to the top level management for decision making.

? ensure well maintained records of books of accounts.

? ensure availability of adequate funds for school operations.

? ensure accounting policies and procedures are followed and implemented.

? identify/suggest measures to improve existing accounting policies and procedures.

? ensure that all the payments (recurring & non-recurring) are done on time

? ensure that the accounts department functions are met in a timely manner

? guide and motivate accounts staff towards continuous individual and organizational growth.

enthusiastic candidate with an accounting background, ready to tackle the challenges in the core finance domain.
knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
adroit soft skills to enable fluent in-house operations and maintain strong partner relationships.
strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
reporting skills
ability to handle relevant software like microsoft suite for efficient preparation of reports and statements.
qualification: master's/bachelors degree in accounting/finance
