Database analyst - saudi female onlywe are currently seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented ot infrastructure specialist to join our team. as an ot infrastructure specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, maintainability, and delivery of our smelter operation technology (ot) overall infrastructure and security appliances. your role will involve managing the ot network environment, including switches, firewalls, fiber optics, vlans, and access points, as well as related systems such as mes, osi pi, and reduction control systems. you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our production systems and infrastructure.responsibilities:**- provide 24/7 support, availability, and business continuity management for pcs production infrastructure systems, network, and applications.- ensure compliance with company ehs policies and standards, assigning work activities to team members and managing their day-to-day activities.- conduct continuous risk assessments of pcs production infrastructure systems, network, and applications, performing gap analysis and implementing mitigation and enhancement plans.- develop and maintain proper procedures and documentation for area systems support.- manage the asset and life cycle of pcs production infrastructure stakes, including hardware, software, licensing, switches, firewalls, fiber optics, vlans, and access points, as well as ot applications.- ensure that all tasks and activities are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.- deliver services and manage incidents related to the pcs production infrastructure, providing regular updates on a weekly and monthly basis.- ensure availability and maintainability of process systems infrastructure, including servers, network, and systems, aiming for 99% availability.- maintain support contracts with vendors and ensure the availability of critical spare parts.- maintain the maintainability of process systems applications by ensuring the availability of needed skills.- comply with all cybersecurity requirements, including patch management, firewall control, interfaces management, and user control.- manage infrastructure life cycle management and system improvement initiatives.- administer, monitor, and report on storage (vnxe, sc, hp, unity, etc.) and backup (avamar, tape library, easeus, offline) systems.- communicate effectively with vendors and support providers to ensure systems health and timely completion of activities.- collaborate with maaden ict and cybersecurity governance teams to maintain up-to-date cybersecurity resilience and perform assessments.- maintain communication with hr from maaden to track departed employees.skillsqualifications, experience, and skills:**- bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or a related field.- minimum of 10+ years of experience in ot infrastructure management and support.- proficiency in it service management, data center management, it project management, and systems administration for windows and unix.- strong knowledge of virtualization and high availability conceptual design, mes application management, osi pi, oracle, and mssql databases and tools.- experience in ot infrastructure development, ot data and network security architecture design, ot data operations, ot service support, emerging ot technologies, cyber security risk management, ot security threats mitigation, security architecture controls implementation, cloud security, and ot governance and compliance framework.- knowledge of network switching (iscsi, access, dmz) and monitoring systems (solarwinds, lansweeper, etc.).- fluent in spoken and written english.**high-performance behaviors:**- strong focus on ehs orientation and compliance.- profit, strategic, and results-oriented mindset.- ownership and commitment to building a successful ot infrastructure.- excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.- initiative and out-of-the-box thinking to drive improvements.- strong judgment and analytical abilities.- continuous learning orientation to stay updated on emerging ot technologies and best practices.- drive for change and adaptability to evolving requirements.- self-confidence and ability to take charge in challenging situations.- ability to develop and coach team members.- customer-focused mindset.
