We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled solar engineer to join our team in dubai, uae. the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining solar energy systems. they will also be involved in conducting feasibility studies, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. the ideal candidate should have a strong background in engineering, renewable energy, and project management. they should be detail-oriented, innovative, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.responsibilities:design and analyze solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (pv) modules, inverters, and battery storage systems.conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of solar energy projects, considering factors such as location, cost, and potential energy output.prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports for solar energy system installations.collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate solar energy systems into new and existing buildings.ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems.perform site visits and inspections to assess solar energy system performance and identify any necessary repairs or upgrades.provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and team members.keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in solar energy technology and industry best practices.manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion of solar energy projects.preferred candidate:bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.minimum 3-5 years of experience in solar engineering or related roles.strong knowledge of solar energy systems, including pv modules, inverters, and battery storage systems.proficient in using software tools for solar energy system design and analysis.excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.experience in project management, including managing budgets, timelines, and resources.understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards related to solar energy systems.ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. professional certifications in solar energy for on grid solar engineer , such as dewa pv expert certificate, dm professional practice certificate, affiliation to uae society of engineers are a plus.skillsstrong knowledge of solar energy systemsproficient in software tools for solar energy system design and analysisexcellent problem-solving and analytical skillseffective communication of technical information to non-technical stakeholdersproject management skills, including budgeting and resource management
