As a knx technical engineer and home automation expert, your primary responsibility is to design, install, program, and maintain knx-based smart home automation systems. you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and specifications and provide customized solutions that meet their requirements. key responsibilities: design and installation: you will be responsible for designing and installing knx-based smart home automation systems for clients. this includes selecting and integrating various devices such as sensors, actuators, switches, and controllers to build a complete automation system. programming: you will be responsible for programming the knx system to meet the client's specific requirements. this includes writing code to automate various functions, such as lighting, heating, ventilation, security, and multimedia, among others. testing and commissioning: you will be responsible for testing and commissioning the automation system to ensure that it works as expected. this includes checking the functionality of each device, verifying the connectivity, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. maintenance and support: you will be responsible for providing ongoing maintenance and support for the automation system. this includes performing routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, device replacements, and system backups. additionally, you will provide technical support to clients and troubleshoot any issues they may have with the system. documentation: you will be responsible for documenting the installation, programming, and maintenance of the automation system. this includes creating user manuals, system schematics, and wiring diagrams. qualifications: education: a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred. experience: at least 2-3 years of experience in designing, installing, and programming home automation systems using knx technologyresponsibilities:design and develop automation systems and processes to optimize productivity and efficiency.collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop innovative solutions.conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis to determine the viability of automation projects.create detailed technical specifications and documentation for automation systems.develop and implement control strategies for automated systems.test and validate automated systems to ensure functionality and performance.troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated systems and processes.provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel.stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in automation technology. ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.preferred candidate:bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.proven experience as an automation engineer or similar role.strong knowledge of automation technologies, experience with control systems design and implementation.excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.strong communication and collaboration skills.ability to work independently and as part of a team.attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.. uae driving license skillsstrong understanding of knx technology and protocols, as well as programming languages such as java, python, or c++. experience with other automation systems such as crestron, control4, and lutron is a plus.strong knowledge of automation technologies, such as plc, scada, hmi, and dcs.proficiency in programming languages, such as c++, python, or java.experience with control systems design and implementation.excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.strong communication and collaboration skills.
