This is a full-time assistant purchasing manager role located on-site in riyadh. the assistant purchasing manager will be responsible for assisting the purchasing manager in sourcing, selecting, and procuring materials, equipment, and services necessary for the operation of the company. the assistant purchasing manager will also work with vendors and other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.qualificationsassist the central purchasing manager in day-to-day procurement activities.aid in streamlining the spare parts procurement process for our truck fleet.experience in procurement or purchasing management.excellent negotiation and interpersonal skillsability to multitask and prioritize competing demandsstrong attention to detail and accuracyproficiency in microsoft office and purchasing software.experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plusexperience in spare parts for mercedes trucks is a plusbachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related fieldarabic & english language proficiencyskillscompliance management: knowledge of purchasing policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance with internal policies as well as legal and regulatory requirements.communication skills: strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and other departments to meet procurement objectives.analytical skills: ability to analyze data, market trends, and supplier performance metrics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in the procurement process.problem-solving abilities: capacity to troubleshoot issues related to procurement, logistics, and supply chain management, and develop creative solutions to overcome challenges and achieve objectives.adaptability: flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements, market conditions, and organizational priorities, while maintaining a high level of performance and professionalism.technical proficiency: proficiency in microsoft office suite (excel, word, powerpoint) and familiarity with purchasing software or erp systems for managing procurement activities efficiently.
