Responsibilities:design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.implement security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access, viruses, and other security threats.perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and backups.provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting network connectivity issues and assisting with network-related inquiries.collaborate with other it team members to resolve complex network problems and optimize network performance.document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends, and make recommendations for network improvements.skillsqualifications:bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.proven experience as a network administrator or similar role.strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., tcp/ip, vlans, vpns, dns, dhcp).experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., wireshark, snmp, ping, traceroute).hands-on experience with networking equipment from vendors such as cisco, juniper, and palo alto networks.familiarity with security best practices and techniques for securing network infrastructure.excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.industry certifications such as ccna, ccnp, or comptia network+ are a plus.
