We are seeking a highly experienced senior engineer with expertise in 5d quantities and specifications to join our team. the ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately quantifying and specifying materials and resources required for construction projects.key responsibilities:develop and manage detailed 5d quantity take-offs based on project drawings and specificationscollaborate with project managers and other engineering teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive project estimatesanalyze and review project specifications to identify potential risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for value engineeringcoordinate with vendors and suppliers to gather accurate pricing information for materials and resourcesassist in the development of project budgets and cost control measuresprovide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on 5d quantity and specification practicesskillsqualifications:bachelor's degree in engineering or related fieldminimum of 7 years of experience in construction estimating, 5d quantity take-offs, and specification developmentproficiency in construction software such as revit, navisworks, bluebeam, and bim 360excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsstrong communication and collaboration abilitiesprofessional certification (cec, ccca) is preferred
