We are hiring on the spot on June 24th from 2 PM to 4 PM stop by 173 Orchard St.

Zazzy’s Pizza is seeking EXPERIENCED Shift Supervisors to join our store team! This role requires an individual with a passion for quality and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service! We currently have two stores and will open a third location in Summer 2021. Zazzy’s is a pizza store that not only has amazing pizza but a full plant-based & gluten-free snacks menu.

Candidates must have a food handler's license (or attain one shortly after hire), be able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and have a pleasant, outgoing personality!

Shift Supervisors will be designated a FOH position (Counter) while on shift. Candidates will be responsible for handling their FOH position duties while also ensuring that the shift runs smoothly.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Maintain our high standards of quality and guest satisfaction
Have full menu knowledge
-Work effectively with upper management and each location’s General Manager.
-Act as liaison between BOH and FOH during shift.
-Opening and closing the restaurant
-Perform end of shift and end of day closing reports
-Basic office/book-keeping work
-Cash handling: opening and closing out registers...also doing bank deposits
-Creating and distributing employee schedules
-Submitting Timesheets for payroll to HR
-Assisting Kitchen staff and GMs with inventory and ordering
-Familiarity with multiple online ordering sites such as Seamless/Grub-hub, Doordash, UberEats etc
-Follow the Department of Mental and Hygiene guidelines with employees due to Covid
-Support GM to deliver any company-wide communication to all employees
-Ensure all employees are providing exceptional customer service
-Communicates to Kitchen Staff and Restaurant Manager any issues regarding food quality and service levels.
-Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, as well as work under pressure and meet deadlines.
-Receive certain deliveries

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2 years FOH experience in the restaurant industry
-Minimum of 1 year FOH manager experience in NYC restaurant industry
-You do whatever it takes to succeed
-Experience with Clover or Square POS
-Ability to work a flexible schedule (including evenings and weekends)
-Must be able to stand on their feet for 8+ hours
-Knowledge of excel and other Microsoft office products
-Must be able to problem-solve and think on your feet
-Bend, reach, pull, or push on a regular basis
-Must be positive, friendly, and passionate about making our guests happy
-Deep understanding of hospitality and how to develop customer relations
