ABOUT THE POSITION
We are currently looking for a rockstar Legal Office Assistant for our fast-paced Phoenix, Arizona location. Do you have a great sense of humor? This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, providing support to our Administrator and Owner through a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operations of the business. The Administrative Assistant will have ownership of a number of tasks that will give room for creativity to streamline the processes, and in other situations will be assigned projects that are often confidential and time sensitive and will need to have high accuracy and exceptional quality so the information can be immediately used and shared.

The Administrative Assistant will also assist the rest of the team on various ongoing projects to help the company work at peak performance. This position will be REQUIRED to work an occasional Saturday.

ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF THE JOB
Customer service
Maintaining a docket system
Reviewing documents from clients and/or debtors
Filing documents with court
Data entry
Supporting Legal and Administrative staff
Troubleshooting
Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bilingual in English/Spanish
High school or equivalent
Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
Bilingual - Spanish
Proven work experience
Reliability IS A MUST
Accuracy
Detail oriented
Maintain confidentiality
Strong work ethic and problem solving skills
Experience utilizing MS Word, Excel and Google products

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience in immigration law or other law office setting is a plus but not necessary
Organized and can handle many tasks at once

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Be able to sit 90% of the work day at times
Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed
Be able to read and comprehend position-specific documents and correspondence in a common language
Be able to communicate in a common language with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/ or in writing.
Be able to operate a computer, phone and/or equivalent devices
Be able to complete a minimum of a 40 hour flexible work week schedule
Be able to lift 5 pounds or more

SALARY

$14 to $20 an hour DOQ
