Under the direction of the company owner and in partnership with the field crews, the general superintendent will be responsible for the day to day operations of the field crews.

• Review and understand all project related documents, bid requests, project drawings, specifications and any other items related to the project.
• Communicate scope, schedule, and other relevant information for awarded projects with team/crew.
• Coordinate and schedule work activities with crews based upon client needs in safe, cost-effective manner
• Provide adequate material and equipment inventories, safety compliance, jobsite inspections
• Maintain records related to cost and inventory for monthly billing.
• Meet with clients to discuss quality control, extra work authorizations, schedules, and billings
• Inspect job sites during construction for assessing potential hazards, unexpected complications, or issues
• Collaborate with clients, supervisors, and design professionals to resolve problems, complaints and design issues
• Manage actions that are necessary due to delays, bad weather or emergencies on the jobsites.

• 5 years extensive knowledge site work grading management
• Excellent organizational, computer, and communication skills
• Driving record must meet company requirements and must have reliable transportation
• Be able to traverse active construction sites in all types of weather conditions
• Knowledge of Trimble and Top Con machine controls and base and rover is required.

• Occasionally will climb stairs, ladders, etc.
• Will interact with people frequently during a shift/work day
• Will lift, push or pull objects on an occasional basis
• Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
• May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
• May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
• May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
• Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
• Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
