totalmed is seeking experienced ultrasound techs / sonographers nationwide. these assignments are typically 13-week travel assignments with both day and night shifts available.

responsibilities:

explain ultrasound procedures to patients so they feel comfortable with the experiencecalibrate, maintain and control all ultrasound equipmentperform ultrasounds on 10-15 patients per day, on averagetake sonogram still images and video for physician and patientsnotify physicians of any abnormalities or concernschart ultrasound results when required

position requirements:

8-13 week contracts36-40 guaranteed hoursardms certifiedminimum 2 years of ultrasound / sonographer experiencewilling to take callwilling to travel
