summary of essential duties and responsibilities:
participates with a large, collaborative project team by leading the testing strategies and activities to achieve a successful project implementation. primary responsibilities will be to provide qa strategy guidance and assistance to business group leaders as they develop and document their individual test plans, test cases, test scripts, and all testing related documentation. must utilize industry best practices and adopt jones day qa team methodologies to create templates for business leaders to use as they document the test plans, cases, and scripts. assist with determining testing objectives and standards by studying and becoming sufficiently familiar with the application modules. assist with creating uat documentation and provide testing oversight for all business groups. consolidates and tracks testing results and issues across all testing activities. assists business leaders and project team with defining quality controls, participating in design reviews, usability tests and performance analysis. works with pm and other project team leaders, and participates in project update meetings and reports status of testing results and activities.
essential knowledge, skills and experience:
experience using microsoft team foundation server (tfs), test manager, coded ui, unit test experience with writing and executing detailed and structured test plans and test scripts utilizing manual testing and/or automated testing tools. basic understanding of network infrastructures, operating systems, and application architectures and services required. ability to work well in a large team environment with both business application users and it personnel. american society for quality (asq) certification, preferred but not required. experience with intapp and/or law firms, preferred but not required. 5 or more years of qa experience.equal opportunity employer/veterans/disabled
