the organization we are partnered with is a managed service provider for different types of businesses throughout orange county. they are seeking an experienced it professional to fill the role of a level 1 it specialist. this role will be the primary point of contact for client technical concerns in orange county and surrounding areas.

this team delivers services remotely, and at client locations, that contribute to client technology adoption, utilization, availability, and strategic goals all within client contract requirements and company policy. the primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:the first point of contact between company's clients and company. represent the company professionally in all interactions with company and client representatives including assistance with technology recommendations and selections.service desk: first level (level 1) support. gathers information, opens tickets, and performs basic troubleshooting steps to find solutions. escalates as required to level-2 support.tech support: first level (level 1) of technical support. gathers the information and performs basic troubleshooting steps to find solutions. escalates as required to level-2 support.desktop support: provides support of desktop hardware, applications, peripherals, desktop connectivity, and mobile devices.network troubleshooting/physical connections: ability and knowledge of working systematically through issues involving the physical layer of a network to provide on-site assistance to resolution or to second tier support and/or third parties.printers: ability and knowledge of working systematically through installation, troubleshooting and issues involving printers and similar peripherals.application support: provides level-1 support for a set of applications. may be involved in build processes and maintenance activities.project management: project delivery and management of technology projects when and as required.the ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:has a predisposition to working with a systems-oriented approach to troubleshooting, following the osi layer model.strong knowledge of windows 10, the greater microsoft ecosystem, and eager to learn windows 11.adaptive personality, suited to multitasking or detail-oriented tasks as needed.curious about, or prior experience with, low-income real estate and property management.creative and entrepreneurial attitude about their responsibilities and opportunities.thinks systematically, seeks simplicity.organized and expects the work environment to be organized.demonstrates a "learner's mindset' to the team in support of the organization's belief in continuous improvement.inquisitive by nature, demands honesty.interested in automation, as well as improving documented processes.demonstrates high levels of empathy and can respond appropriately to emotional undertones when dealing with team members and client's associates.interested in, or prior experience with, the retail auto business.
