job description and responsibilities

vintun llc is seeking an office assistant to support the operations team at the company's headquarters located in alexandria, virginia. the successful candidate will assist the contracts manager and accounting manager by performing a variety of administrative tasks. these tasks include:

operational support

coordinate with corporate it on asset managementfacilitate office supply and it order requestsassist with internal document managementmanage corporate communicationsassist with employee morale programslight meeting and event planningpoc for onboarding items (backpacks, badging, etc)

human resources / recruiting

partner with corporate hr to maintain and communicate office policies as necessarymaintain proficiency with applicant tracking systemconduct initial candidate screening coordinate and schedule interviewscoordinate with it for onboarding materials for new hires

accounting support

monitor and maintain office supplies inventory for all office locationsreview supply procurement with accounting managerreceipt retainment and reconciliation

job requirements

4 year degree from accredited universitymust be in the northern virginia, maryland, d.c. areaexcellent written and verbal communication skillsproficient in ms office

preferred requirements

knowledge of human resources management practices and proceduresoffice management, administrative or assistant experienceknowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures sharepointapplicant tracking system (ats)time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workattention to detail and problem-solving skills

hours and focus of work are flexible depending on availability, skills and interest.
