responsibilities:

kforce has a client that is seeking a technical support specialist in austin, tx. summary: the technical support specialist is responsible for providing users with comprehensive support for the efficient resolution of end-user incidents, service requests, and problems. the it specialist will be an active and contributing member of the it support services team and will report to the support services manager. duties and responsibilities of the technical support specialist include the following: provides support for the efficient resolution of it end-user-related incidents, service requests, and problems covering desktops, laptops, servers, and other infrastructure devices responsible for the setup, configuration and maintenance and documentation of all windows based desktops and laptops provide limited support for engineering and development teams diagnose microsoft os, office 365 software and hardware problems ensure compliance with backups and disaster recovery setup resolves issues utilizing excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills, and technical thinking/reasoning skills, and a high level of individual judgment to ensure outcomes of customer satisfaction assists other it functional teams to troubleshoot local systems documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware, software systems, and licenses may participate in some projects assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, but which are logically and properly inherent to the global it department

requirements:
