As the accounting manager, you will support the accounting team and being responsible for the month-close process.

you will report to the director of fp&a for consumer audio americas and have 3 direct reports.
what you will docoordinates and leads the monthly financial close for the consumer north america business, in compliance with all internal policy and audit requirements. reviews reconciliations and manual journal entries prepared by the team. areas of focus include cost of goods, inventory, warehouse and freight expenses, warranty costs, intercompany accounts and other related accounting areas.prepares budgets and forecasts, including the analysis of variations vs. actual results. identifies areas of risk and opportunity, including cost savings and process improvement opportunities, in partnership with the supply chain and sales teams.supports internal and corporate reporting activities and provides approval for new vendors, po's and special projects.what you needbachelor’s degree in finance/accounting knowledge of us gaap and ifrs+7 years related experience to include preparing financial statements, leading month-close processes and supporting audit.advanced sap, excel and power point skillswhat is nice to havecpa or chartered accountant designationstrong analytical skillsexcellent communication skills. business proficiency in english.ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously and apply problem solving skillsability to plan and organize
