lead role and handling testing efforts for an internal platform. offshore interactions, so experience working with offshore teams is a must. candidate will drive testing and deliverables and also looks for opportunities on what to automate.
the lead qa tester designs, creates, maintains and executes functional test cases, test suites and test plans to determine if software meets the defined requirements. this is a hands-on testing role that requires excellent testing, organizational and communication skills. strong automation experience/selenium, apis, java required.

overview/requirements:
analyze requirements and design, build and execute test cases to assure the quality of the application under test. be able to load, manage and track test cases in our test management tool jira.provide detailed, statistic-based status reports.ability to develop and execute various types of tests including: functional, system, integration, end-to-end, black box, regression, api and batch testing.advanced programming knowledge on java, object oriented concepts and database (sql)support, maintain, and enhance all test case automation related activities during iterative development, system testing, and regression testingconfiguring selenium test environment (ste) in order to set it upparticipating in selenium environment setup with an integrated development environment (ide)experience in automating the apis using rest assured librariesexperience with performance and load testing (jmeter etc.)experience with agile methodology and the ability to recognize opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement. ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of technologists and business team members including offshore team members.ability to coordinate and work with globally distributed teams.test management - manage and prioritize testing to meet the milestones, deadlines and goals of the project.
