the administrative assistant is responsible for supporting daily office tasks and managing general administrative activities.
responsibilities:
* manage event calendars
* organization and execution of events
* draft and design different types of written content (for example, internal announcements, newsletters, and printed media)
* edit and proofread written material, videos, and presentations
* create and maintain contact databases
basic/required qualifications:
* high school diploma or equivalent qualification
* minimum two years' experience in an administrative assistant role
* proficiency in ms office (ms excel and ms powerpoint, in particular)
* excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
* strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
* customer service-oriented
preferred qualifications:
* previous office management experience for 2 to 5 years
* experience in writing and editing material
* excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
* proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
* able to lift to 30 pounds
* able to stand up to 2 hours at a time
* proficient and advanced knowledge of microsoft outlook, word, excel, powerpoint, and sharepoint
