dispatcher / account manager responsibilities:

negotiates with qualified suppliers/vendors for dispatching to sites.  properly vet new suppliers/vendors  schedule & communicate with vendors to meet customer requirements assign work orders responsible to maintain efficient vendor saturation levels in assigned markets. as needed, may launch a competitive bidding process analyzes bid responses to determine the most responsible bidder to optimize total cost reviews and analyzes supplier compliance during bid process to assist with award decisions effectively manage incoming calls mostly from vendor partners and/or internal teams build strong vendor relationships handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives 

dispatcher qualifications:

strong phone contact handling skills and active listening dispatch experience strong customer service skills excellent communication and presentation skills ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively ability to negotiate with bids excellent problem-solving skills, computer skills and attention to details demonstrated excellence in written communications and strong interpersonal skills ability to operate independently, under pressure, to perform multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities, and to deal with changing priorities, while maintaining personal effectiveness proficiency with the microsoft office suite of productivity applications high school diploma or ged
