our large automotive manufacturing client is looking for an accounts receivable specialist. as the accounts receivable specialist, responsibilities include:

process accounts receivable transactionscontinuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvementshandle sensitive information in a confidential mannerprovide support for internal and external auditsprepare cash receipts for processingperform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate mannermanage collection efforts and associated functions

the ideal accounts receivable specialist for this opportunity will have:

at minimum, an associate's degree in accounting or related field2-3 years of experience with collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivableproficient in microsoft office applicationsknowledge of gaap and basic accounting principlesstrong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracyexcellent verbal and written communication skillsability to analyze large sets of datahigh degree of familiarity with accounts receivable functions

this is a long-term contract opportunity for the right individual.
