Location: due to growth, we are recruiting fire stoppers/carpentry and drywall background for projects in following locations: kent, canterbury, faversham, ashford, sittingbourne salary range: £160 to £180 per day (depending on experience) contract type: long term contract pilon is an award winning, multi-trade contractor, providing planned maintenance and refurbishment of buildings for the social housing sector across london, southeast, and midlands. must-haves and skills required: carpentry and drylining skills - must be able to erect plasterboard partitions and overhauls fire doors (lipping’s/gaps/door closers/replace hinges/fit locks) be able to tape and joint and decorate partitions valid cscs proof to work in uk asbestos awareness tools -110v or battery operated driving licence – must have access to car or van (van preferred). you will be required to transport materials from the office to the place of work. good english-conversational level desired qualifications manual handling (can be provided in house by pilon) working at height (can be provided in house by pilon) experience in passive fire stopping not essential (training can be provided in house) company van may be provided for asset technicians, with excellent speed and quality of works. as an equal opportunity employer, working inclusively across the organisation, we believe that our different abilities and backgrounds make us stronger so please don’t hesitate to apply. saturday work available. immediate start.
