We are a dog grooming salon located in queen creek. our motto is “we love the dogginess of dogs” we are looking for a fellow animal enthusiast that is positive, professional and hard working. we are booked three weeks out and have a waiting list. we can immediately hire the for the right person the same day you interview and completely fill your schedule.

pay is commission base. a experienced groomer could expect the following:
estimated bi-weekly pay:
at 30-35 dogs a week you will make $2500-$3500 biweekly (before tips)
the clientele tips well, and as a reference, cash tips range from 200-400 biweekly.

estimated gross annual income:
(6-7 dogs a day) $60,000-$78,000 (before tips)
estimated annual cash tips $4,800-$9,600

the harder you work, the more you will make!

there is a large demand for dog grooming here and we are growing. we accept all breeds and sizes. must be proficient in breed styles and specialized cuts. owners are on site and we have a receptionist. the right team fit is very important to us. we want to have fun and keep the relaxed environment.

as a groomer with you will be required to do the following:
• greet clients and check their pets in, assess the pets grooming needs
• must be kind, gentle and willing to grow.
• treat all clients and pets with respect
• professionally perform grooming services on animals as requested by customers
• furnish and maintain your equipment
• keep the grooming area clean (sweep, mop, clean cages)
• document grooming style, blades used, shampoo and general condition of pet
• full time and part time will be considered

work environment:
the majority of job duties are conducted indoors in the grooming salon. position requires bending, kneeling, lifting and standing for long periods of time. a large amount of this applicant’s time will be spent in direct contact with our customers and their dogs. the work environment can be noisy and wet.

education/experience:
a qualified applicant to this position will demonstrate knowledge and skills in the grooming industry, and either a high school diploma or its equivalent (ged) is preferred. the applicant must have a minimum of one year's experience grooming/styling pets under the leadership of a professional groomer and must successfully complete a personal skills evaluation.
