Bar and waiting staff - united kingdom, new glasgow
We are looking for some full-time bar and waiting staff for the ferry. we are a concert venue on the river clyde, on board the old renfrew ferry. the following outlines what we will need you to agree to, please only apply if these are acceptable to you: * this position is very weekend heavy so we need you to be able to work friday and saturday evenings every week. weekend nights off are only available as part of your arranged holiday periods. * start times are generally around 5pm or 6pm for an evening shift and 10am or 11am on a daytime shift. latest finish time is around midnight or 1am but we do have a 3am licence which we use a couple of times a year and would need you to be available for. * the month of december is our busiest time of year and we will need you to be available throughout, including 26th to 31st december (christmas eve and christmas day we are closed). * the job requires both bar and waiting work. * we are a real living wage employer but will ask you to work a trial period of 2 shifts (paid) which will be paid at national minimum wage, unless you are accepted for the position. we will expect a positive and interested attitude towards the job, the same as our current staff members, if this is not accomplished on the trial, we will proceed with an alternative applicant. --- weekly pay, weekly shared tips, friendly atmosphere, free staff meals on full shift. immediate start for the right candidate. please provide a picture on your cv - even if it just your favourite, informal selfie! it is easier for us to remember each applicant this way and makes it more personable. thanks!
