we are currently seeking a director, implementation client services to build, develop and mentor the client services implementation teams for synchr. the role will also help establish best practice and methodologies used by implementation consultants, to ensure highly customer engagements, implementations, and upgrades. as such this role should have a broad hcm and general hr domain knowledge.

position summary - what you will do:

the director, implementation client services will be responsible for leading the professional services implementation consultant teams, ensuring successful engagements for customers, driving best practice, and establishing proven project methodologies for successful implementations. the ideal candidate has solid knowledge of hcm fundamentals and value streams.

responsibilities will include:

aggressively recruit, develop, lead and retain a diverse and remote team of implementation consultants serving synchr’s product delivery engagements with their customers. leader will ensure teams delivery on-time, on budget, and with high degree of quality.promote a team oriented, challenging and innovative work environment.drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels. guide and support implementation consultants to identify/resolve any escalated issues, that could impact overall standard project scope and/or timeframes for implementation deliveriesserves as a first and second tier of escalation contact for clients.present at executive steering committee meetingsbe a liaison for professional services when interacting with sales and/or developmentidentify opportunities to position other service offeringswork to determine appropriate staffing plans, assemble project teams and resolve resource challenges for successful engagement deliveriesbe an expert in best practice and engagement delivery methodologies leveraging these for team, partners and for all customerssupport internal and partner engagement managers for project kick-offs and hand-offsmaintain and continuously improve the consulting on-boarding, performance management and career development processcontribute to the strategic direction of the professional services organization through leading and participating in related internal initiativescontinuously establish a clear understanding of best practice in hr tech landscape – vendors, payroll partners, shifts to cloud, etc.ensure team delivers implementation transitions for customers from professional services delivery to product support, and can serve as a reference upon completing their implementation

position qualifications -  about you:

you have a minimum of 8-10 year’s previous broad hr hcm consulting experience, which includes leading teams who implement hcm (“human capital management”) products or applications.

you are a self-starter, customer service oriented, and creative when it comes to solving problems. the ideal candidate will have come from an hcm product company, with a sme level of expertise regarding hcm products and processes. (workday, success factors, sap, payroll product companies, etc.)  we are seeking individuals in this role who have a real passion for leadership, and set the bar even higher when serving our client’s needs.

position requirements include:

the ideal candidate has a minimum of 8-10 year’s previous hcm product implementation experience, which includes at least 6+ year’s leading an implementation organization that works directly with clients in the hcm industry.  this should include sme level knowledge regarding creating and leveraging best practice and proven delivery methodologies, (reports, project plans, process design, technology roadmaps, product configuration and cutover roadmaps, etc.). the ideal candidate has an expert familiarity with payroll/benefits hcm products.

proven leadership and coaching success, leading professional services teams is requiredexpert knowledge with at least three of the following business areas: human resources, benefits, payroll, time capture, talent acquisition services requireddemonstrated successful hcm project management experience, to include a balance of functional (business) and technical experience. (*previous experience with a major systems integrator and/or a cloud based hcm software company preferred)passion for customer service, and the ability to highlight previous demonstrated success in defining and utilizing best practices and delivery methodology is requiredprevious proven success in collaborating and building strong relationships with customers and partners as well as internally and cross-functionally is requiredexpert presentation skills, with proven ability to influence decision making at the c levelstrong organizational skills, with ability to shift priorities and resolve escalated issues needed to support the team in a fast paced environmentexcellent written and verbal communication skillsba/bs in a related field (business, computer science, etc.) required. relevant work experience may substitute for required educationexperience leading virtual teams is preferred
