Full-time care team leader location: sevenoaks, tn15 wage: £40,500.00 + gross per annum (additional hours paid at an hourly rate) driver essential? yes essential: experienced team leader or senior support worker, experience working within a family setting days & hours: 41 contracted hours per week (including hours for team leader admin) family/client pets: yes, puppy. recruiter: kamila, about this client/child: roshan is soon to be 6 years old and lives at home in sevenoaks with his mummy, daddy, and younger brother aged 2. roshan is an active, social, and engaging chap with oodles of energy and a love for music, singing, and waterplay. roshan has cerebral palsy and is dependent on others to meet all his care needs. he is mobile through crawling and uses a wheelchair and walker to aid his mobility. he is pre-verbal and uses pictures and sounds to support his communication. this is a busy, active family home. overview of role: we are recruiting for an experienced care team leader on a full-time, permanent basis. as well as providing hands-on support, your role will be to manage a newly recruited team of support workers providing 24/7 support. a full therapy team has recently started with roshan, you will receive training from each therapist and incorporate each programme into his care plan. accurate record-keeping and documenting all tasks undertaken to provide care and support to roshan is essential, so you must be computer literate and demonstrate excellent communication skills. the typical team leader-related duties involved: rota planning, supervisions, training, team meetings, liaising with professionals, diary management, petty cash etc. weekends and school holidays:7.00am to 7.00pm. term-time: time: 7.00am to 10.00am and 2.45pm to 7.00pm. weekends: 7.00am - 7.00pm. the team leader works 3 split shift per week and 3 weekend days per month. rates of pay: £19.00 weekdays, £21.00 weekends, gross per hour who this job would suit: an experienced care team leader or senior support worker carer with previous experience working within a family setting. a confident driver (automatic) is essential. the family will be moving to a new home in the coming months (next year) however will continue to live in sevenoaks. what’s great about this job: you will have the opportunity to lead a newly recruited care team, work alongside highly qualified therapists and professionals, implement new strategies and continue working on a 1:1 basis with your client. who is recruiting for this role? we are working in association with a case manager on this vacancy; they will be carrying out all recruitment, including shortlisting and interviewing. by applying for this vacancy, you agree to snap care sending your cv and contact details directly to our client for their consideration. ** mandatory vaccinations. this vacancy may be subject to mandatory coronavirus vaccinations. please see the news & blog section on our website for the latest updates.
