Junior administrator - united kingdom, reigate

Connick tree care has been voted the uk’s no.1 arboricultural company and we are expanding fast. we are looking for a confident and enthusiastic junior administrator to join our small, but super busy team. you’ll be based at our head office in reigate, in a quiet, rural location, with plenty of free parking. we are proud of our ‘family feel’ ethos. we run social events throughout the year and encourage all our staff to partake in volunteer days. continual professional development is important to us; we support staff with their ongoing training and encourage professional growth. you should have good it skills including microsoft office and have excellent numeracy and literacy skills. the majority of our communications is via the telephone so you must be confident in dealing with customers and suppliers over the phone. if you are a good communicator and are able to remain calm under pressure, then we would love to hear from you. working hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm monday to fridays. we offer: a basic salary of £17,000 to £19,000 per annum dependant on experience bonus scheme payments averaging £2k to £2.5k per annum non-contributory personal accident staff insurance scheme 28 days holiday with additional days for long service company pension scheme ongoing training perks include casual dress, lots of giggles, free tea/coffee/fruit (and biscuits – but don’t tell the boss !!), free onsite parking immediate start available. main duties · booking appointments, producing quotations, managing and processing accepted quotations and subsequent delivery of those works to include council checks and applications, booking of parking suspensions and traffic management, access arrangements or other supporting requirements. · ensure delivery of an exceptional standard of customer and client care is maintained at all times in line with the company systems and procedures. · administer, manage and ensure completion of tender submission documents within given deadlines as required under the direction of the management team. · supervise and ensure the effective management and maintenance of the managers’ daily electronic diaries. · normal everyday tasks to include processing of customer payments and raising invoices. · manage and update the works programming database on a daily basis. · administer and manage the daily works programming diary. essential · excellent skills in the use of all ms office applications, including the management of multiple outlook diaries. · excellent team working skills with the desire to work collaboratively and co-operatively with colleagues. · professional approach with a friendly and helpful manner when dealing with clients or colleagues. · positive attitude and approach with the ability to work in a proactive manner. · ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting work demands. · ability to plan, carry out and complete projects or tasks within agreed timescales. · manage and update the works programming database on a daily basis. · administer and manage the daily works programming diary. desirable · experience of working with microsoft access databases and multiple diaries access to reliable transport due to the rural location of our depot.
