location: menomonee falls, wi
duration: full-time (direct hire)


responsibilities:

ideal candidate will be developing data pipelines for warehousing, bi reporting, and analytics using matillion, dbt, and powerbi from database, file, and api sources using dataops methodologieswill be responsible for implementing data quality and integrity checks to proactively identify and fix data issues.understand and inform business processes that generate data throughout the company. influence changes in systems and processes to generate data that is accurate, useful, and consistentserve as a resource for data users in the organization. drive awareness of available data. assist business users with technical tasks including data extracts, report creation, sql, and general data system troubleshootingdevelop and maintain documentation on database and power bi datasetswill participate in peer review of code and processes

required skills:

bachelor's degree is preferredlooking for 3+ years in a sql-based data engineering or analyticsshould have strong sql skillsdemonstrated understanding of warehouse design and best practicesexperience loading and transforming structured and semi-structured datadata preparation and report creation using power bi, tableau, qlik, or another bi toola continual learner who can pick up new tasks and responsibilities quickly; is able to complete projects with little direction
