Site manager - united kingdom, new glasgow
We are currently recruiting a site manager for a main contractor working on a number of projects in glasgow. as site manager you will be an integral member of the site team. you will be responsible for the delivery of all operational activities from project inception to completion. your duties will include: - assist in the provision of a safe, efficient and cost-effective service stream on all areas of service delivery ensuring the highest quality of work is provided in the timescales determined by the contract - manage the day-to-day activities on site, leading teams - track progress and produce progress reports, ensuring they distributed to senior management - ensure site/project targets are met and motivate colleagues and contractors to achieve these - review method statements and risk assessments to ensure compliance with set procedures, arrange and chair pre-start meetings with sub-contractors - issue correct notices and relevant contractual correspondence to sub-contractors at the appropriate time - ensure work is documented properly and documents are available to senior management - maintain accurate site diaries for all activities and highlight any risk items - control and monitor day works for subcontractors - ensure the site complies with h&s regulations, recording any incidents promptly and correctly the applicant: - 3 years experience managing £15m+ construction projects - cscs card (management) - smsts certified - first aid certification (advantageous) - full uk driving license - confident it skills, proficient in the use of ms office
