My client designs and manufactures a wide range of scientific instrumentation, specializing in microscope automation and optical microscopy. for the role of cnc setter you must have the following: - able to use alphacam - accustomed with various exotic materials - liaise with customers to ensure expectations are met - set and operate experience with 2-5 axis milling machines - set and operate cnc turning machinery - alpha cam (cad cam programming) - cmm operation - experience using fanuc or mazak
