all administrative tasks, including the deployment of admin staff be the first point of contact for any administrative related issues raised by staff recruit, manage, lead, appraise, train, develop and motivate the reception/admin team to ensure their effective deployment (achieving targets and maximising outputs) for the benefit of the college oversee the provision of an effective reception service to the school, to include receiving visitors and telephone calls to the school and dealing with them appropriately the management, planning and co-ordination of the work of the reception / admin team and school office to ensure the provision of an effective and efficient service within the school. create effective schedules for all staff and tasks within the domain of student services, admin reception and the resources team working as part of the wider student support service team to offer advice and support to students on day-to-day issues, and ensuring the appropriate recording and administration systems are in place to deliver this effectively managing home-school communication to ensure a professional and effective standard at all times oversee the college’s marketing processes, including oversight of the website, newsletter and general social media presence in the community provide a comprehensive personnel service to staff within the school, which includes: provision of advice and guidance on hr related matters implement and monitor hr policies and procedures develop and maintain hr records, including paper and electronic records of sickness and personal leave and training coordinate the effective communication of all pay related information to the payroll team candidate requirements essential 5 gcses at grade c or above or equivalent including maths and english nvq3 in business admin or equivalent attainment of level 4 qualifications or equivalent is desirable but not essential well-developed ict and mis skills and experiences proven experience of motivating, managing and training others and able to work collaboratively with colleagues demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally be professional and confident in their approach to communications with senior management, parents and staff have a high level of it competence and will be confident using varied it packages including outlook, excel and office have an excellent level of accuracy and be meticulous in their attention to detail demonstrate
